I fear for our country, y'all. With multi-culturism running rampant with the liberal faction of the United States of the Offended, everything that was good and clean and right is disappearing. A patriot is defined in the dictionary as
One who loves his country, and zealously supports its authority and interests
and patriotism as
Love of country; devotion to the welfare of one's country; the virtues and actions of a patriot; the passion which inspires one to serve one's country or : love of country and willingness to sacrifice for it
Will someone tell me how the libs who are protesting our country's policies
and trashing our GI's and going to other countries saying how stupid American people are justified in calling themselves patriots or patriotic Can they tell me how they consider it their 'patriotic' duty to publicly and meanly protest our countrys' foreign policy thereby putting our military members' lives in even greater danger than they would otherwise be. Will ANYBODY please tell me what the hell is patriotic about making a 'movie' trashing America, its leaders, and its military???
Someway, somehow, we have got to find a way to get our country back. Thanks to the likes of Kerry and Fonda in the 60's and early 70's, the left extremists have stolen it and are trying to destroy everything it has ever stood for. Then, when they are questioned about that, they launch into a diatribe about the right wing extremists and how they have taken the country and the libs want to 'take America back'. Our morals and values in mainstream America are in the toilet, God is becoming a four letter word, our kids are being taught revisionist history, and common sense has gone AWOL. I think it's about time to rally the troops

The fronts in this culture war were defined in the 60's, and conservatism, which is, inherently, mind-numbingly apathetic, ceded the high ground to enemy propagandists with barely a whimper.
The gauntlet was tossed decades ago. I'd suggest that they be engaged by reconnaissance-in-force at your next local school board meeting. |

Tried that. Libs way too entrenched. Can't even fire for effect with this crowd. And this is the 'conservative south'. The local rag, naturally, is left wing (the op/ed guys favor taking God out of the pledge, which lets you know just entrenched they are, this is the Bible belt, after all), the city and county councils are all headed by libs, and the Ed. Czar for the state is running for senate to fill Fritz Hollings' seat (and leading in the polls). Of course, our border state to the north is the 'latest' home for Little Johnny Edwards. It is becoming increasingly frustrating to see our homes and towns falling one by one in the big socialist plan. Worst part? Our 'conservative Republican' congressman are hear-no-evil, see-no-evil, and speak-no-evil. _________________ LOCK & LOAD!

Well, the Kerry's and Fonda's of this world are patriotic. The difference between us is the country they love.
The country they love offers free health care and public transportation. The country they love is where food is cheap, housing is plentiful, and clothing is easily available to all. The country they love doesn't allow evil people to prosper, ennobles the poor, releaves the middle-class on the backs of the rich, and drives out the stinking corporate elite. The country they love has the motto: "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need."
Yes, you've heard that phrase before. They love a country where communism has proved workable, which is to say that everybody (but themselves) is equally miserable. They love a country where people feel free, even while they are enslaved to the powerful rulers; the ubermenschen -- themselves. They love a country where people are not allowed to confuse the issues with facts, but everybody knows better than to rock the boat the powerful rulers have built to serve themselves.
In short, they love a country that never existed. In view of human nature, and in light of history, it is a country that cannot exist, but it is impossible to tell them that. It is a favorite dream of theirs, and they won't listen to us "nay-sayers." _________________ Richard Stauch

The whole lib thing makes me sick. I have a greater understanding now of why my fellow South Carolinians met in the First Baptist Church in Columbia in December of 1860. _________________ LOCK & LOAD!
