On Scarborough Counrty, Pat Robertson just asked a liberal if Kerry went over the line by bringing up Cheney's daughter.
The liberal answered "No" because the polls showed that Kerry won the debate.
To these people (liberals), polls are more important than values, character, morality, etc.
Clinton's behavior with his intern just reinforces this idea.

Did you catch the comment a few minutes later where one of the talking-heads called Bush's religious views "simple-minded?" He went on to say those types of views don't work for people with more complicated religious beliefs. (That's paraphrased.) I'm not at all religious, but the comment came across as extremely condescending.
