| he reportedly told them that Bush is out of touch with the middle class, etc... And Kerry is in touch? I don't think even the Kerry supporters believe that. |

I happened to tune in on part of this. The audience was scowling more than Bush in the 1st debate. I don't think they liked Kerry much.

| I picked up a few sound bites on one of the shows. Kerry would deliver a line, and seemed to be greeted by dead silence. Unless it was just an artifact of the sound-bite's construction, it sure didn't sound like he was getting a lot of support. |
