I sent a letter to the editor to a really small paper out on Anna Maria Island in Florida. It was one I got from a member here who did an excelant job of getting all of our major points in under 250 words. He encouraged us all to plagarize and send it to papers in our area.
Here is the letter i sent:

John Kerry, a sworn US Navy officer, gave aid and comfort to the Vietcong, an enemy of the US. His actions were used by our enemy to increase the suffering of our POWs and lengthen the war by an estimated two years, resulting in many more casualties. He is honored by the presence of his portrait in the 'War Remnants Museum' in Ho Chi Minh City, a place dedicated to those who aided the 'revolution'.
John Kerry, arguably a traitor, would lead our country into weakness,
hoping the worldwide terror would subside into 'nuisance'.
May God save the United States of America. |
And here is the letter I got back from the Anna Maria Island Sun:

Naturally, I couldn't resist replying:

I find it interesting you did not (because you can

They didn't sign a name naturally. I might make some calls Monday and raise a fuss. Maybe I'll even call the local news and raise hell.

yes call the station and make a big deal. u never know, it might make the news. that is pretty bad. whoever did it should be fired. talk about bias.
hang onto that one, u should be able to have some real fun with that. at the very least u might get the guy fired.

Lets talk about Nazis. What did they do? Propoganda and more propoganda like what Joseph Girble did. Like what Michael Moore did.
Consider the ignorance of this woman and consider making a personal visit to the editor in person. I would not allow this kind of behavior to go unchecked. It is these kind of people that will destroy our country. |

That would be an interesting point to raise. Please send it to Sean Hannity at FNC. After all, Sean has mentioned that--the Kerry's past conducts--many times. By the same logic, Sean must have also been a Nazi, with capital N.

The editor was the real Nazi. Nazi's don't like truth but oh they love personal attacks instead, Hitler was a master of the personal attack and shoutdown of those who disagreed with him. This was throughout his youth and even before he came to power.
He would have loved the modern democratic party!

A suggestion to Deborah and moderators or admins of this board:
Would the admins/mods accept a forward of the actual message (one that keeps the e-mail headers intact) and provide that message for personal replies by POWS and Swiftvets, as well as a forward to other MSM sources? This kind of behaviour needs to be called out and exposed for the hatred it is.

Someone else already nailed it - it's the person who replied to you who is a "Nazi."
We conservatives take it on the chin every %$^&# day from our leftist press, but someone has the audacity to merely question the Kerry-cheerleading/socialist drivel that they spoonfeed us 24/7 and we're the Nazi's?
Take a look at who has attempted the suppression of the Swifts' message from day one and then call us "Nazi" with a straight face.
They're so cute when they get all red-faced and spluttery like that, aren't they? You almost have to wipe spittle off your monitor, don't ya?

According to the headers the email I recieved came directly from Michael Field, the publisher and president of the Anna Maria Island Sun.
I'm in the process of contacting each advertiser on their website and forwarding to them a copy of the email along with promises not to patronize any business advertising there. I also mentioned I planned to make some calls and raise a fuss.
