I have incidentally reported this Web page to the Army and to the Department of Justice. Common sense suggests that there is a rule against this sort of thing:

"I currently have two cameramen/reporters doing work for me in Iraq for my movie (unbeknownst to the Army). They are talking to soldiers and gathering the true sentiment about what is really going on. They Fed Ex the footage back to me each week. That's right, Fed Ex."
I don't know how military journalists operate but common sense suggests that they have to clear what they do through Army censors to prevent, for example, inadvertant transmission of troop movements that might be intercepted by the enemy. If Michael Moore's people are working secretly without such supervision, don't they pose a security risk???

Moving to Geedunk shortly.
I would also note the Article is from last April, and is related to his already released Propaganda Piece "Farenheit 911". I do not think Moore broke any Laws, as the media has been allowed to send reporters to Iraq all along. The "Imbed" was for the actual Invasion and even then many Networks had Reporters in Baghdad prior to and during the War.
He is still a dirtball though.

Yes but I would suspect that reporters-- authorized ones, that is-- must clear their communications with the Army to avoid transmitting information that, if intercepted by the enemy, could be used to cause harm. During WWII, censors read the men's letters and blacked out anything they thought might help the enemy if the letter was intercepted.
It is easy to see how an unauthorized "reporter" could cause enormous harm, e.g. by sending a message like, "I am with a battalion that will be traveling to Fallujah in a couple of hours." A bad guy who got this information would, if he had a land mine handy, put it right in the middle of the road to Fallujah. So I would think there would be a law against unauthorized reporters covering the war. And if there is such a law, Michael Moore may well have committed a criminal offense-- especially if he planted his reporters there under false pretenses.
Anyway, I have sent his Web page to both the Army and the Department of Justice, so they can make this call.
