These two new ads will probably convince military people, veterans, and their families not to vote for Kerry, but what about non-military people?

I still hope there's enough money left for an ad about Kerry telling the Senate there would be about 3000 casualties if the US withdrew from Vietnam, followed by an announcement of the real casualties (that photo of the skulls lined up on a shelf would be convincing), then run the 2004 tape of Kerry saying he would withdraw from Iraq in six months.

Then an announcer: "John Kerry was wrong on war and peace, and it led to disaster. 58,000 American soldiers died in vain, because of John Kerry. Do you trust his wartime judgment now?"

Those are emotionally powerful ads.

And that is what TV does best. Appeals to your emotions.

If people are effected emotionally they will look for the answers to the questions asked. The information is out there.

I really like the first one. Seeing all the guys together and talking about their sacrifices will not only shame Kerry but all those who slander and libel the Swiftees. And I think it will work great on monday Night football. Great way to allocate money. Lots of guys who may not be politically inclined, but that respect team, duty, loyalty and sacrfice.

I also like the first one because at this point, I'm not sure questions and issues regarding specific medals or incidents about Kerry will persuade the non-veteran swing vote much. That stuff had a certain impact, but I think further impact is limited. I think now is gut check time. The key is not what Kerry did thirty years ago, its whether he is a dignified and likable man who we want in our living rooms for four more years. That nonpolitical Joe six pack watching monday night football probably wont be persuaded because Kerry lied about being in Cambodia, but he could be moved knowing that Kerry has no loyalty. That he sold out men of honor and distinction.

Great job. Already looking forward to Monday Night football.

Pretty good game to pick. Tampa Bay and St Louis. Should get good exposer in Florida and the midwest epesially Iowa.

This might be big, real big. Monday Night Football numbers are still big. MNF also has a huge blue collar and union viewership. Perhaps many of those people--on the fence now---will learn more about Kerry, Swiftees and POW's. Also, the ad will reach every bar, tavern and saloon in the country. We might even get the boozers who've not made up their minds.

Just as important, MNF has big college age viewership. These young people will learn something perhaps they never knew before.

In short, it can only be viewed as a huge plus.
