What’s Happening In America?
For the anti war protesters, John Kerry, Michael Moore and the liberal left

What’s happening in America?
Did you forget who made you free?
You’ve turned you backs on the ones who fought
To stop our enemies

You have the right to disagree,
That’s the freedom you’ve been given
But when your protest turns to hate
Against the country that you live in
Then I wonder about your motives
Are they really the right reason?
Or is it YOU that hates America
To me, this sounds like treason

You’re nothing but a coward
Hiding your face behind a rag
While carrying signs of hatred
And burning the American Flag

You break windows and block freeways
And say, that you hate war
Shouting out, we want peace
While it’s you, they’re fighting for…

They’re willing to fight for other’s rights
Never knowing what their fate
Americans are fighting for peace
But all you show is hate

From the beaches of Normandy
To Hitler’s Nazi regime
From hills of North Korea
And the streets of Italy
To the Jungles of Viet Nam
And the deserts in Iraq
Our Americans fought to set them free
They never turned their backs

So aim your hatred somewhere else
To where it needs to be
If you don’t like America
Then maybe YOU should leave
