I wrote this after 9/11. I feel safe with President Bush. He has not let the enemy into our backyard again. He's kept the gate closed! If John Kerry becomes President, that gate will swing wide open again!

"Our Lady Liberty is Weeping"

The world watched in horror
as this mother dressed in green
was made to watch her children die
and hear their awful screams

How could this possibly happen
with this mother standing guard
who would have thought it wasn’t safe
in her very own back yard

But this lady watched in horror
as something evil broke down the gate
It got to her children before she could
She knew she was to late

She thought her home was the safest place
for her children to work and play
A place of freedom and liberty
Where she watched them every day

Now this mother will stop at nothing
As she grieves for the children she’s lost
make no mistake she’ll find their killers
and they will pay the cost

She’ll make sure her yard is safe again
for children to work and play
This evil will never get through again
as it did that September day
