From what I can gather, Kerry didn't even shoot that goose yesterday. The NRA people said that he got up, pretended to hunt, had the geese already dead and he went out and they handed it to him to look like he had been hunting.
Again, he will do and say anything to get elected. What a horse's behind. |

Doesn't surprise me at all. Kerry is like a "Potemkin village" - all false fronts with nothing behind them. |

The goose was in rigor mortis!
Hey, be glad they didn't let him use a firearm.
Anyway, I called the Kerry campaign, and this is what they told me: "Senator Kerry was on a routine patrol through the marshes, signing up unregistered Canadian geese to vote, when he noticed a goose drowning on the lake. Jumping swiftly into his sturdy skiff, he dashed out into the open waters of the pond, er, raging lake--er, boiling sea, and singlehandedly pulled the goose into the boat, administering beak to beak resuciatation. Tragically, the goose died, despite the senator's best efforts. Or maybe because of them, but in any event, Kerry has been awarded the French Canadian Goosers Lifetime Achievement Award, and will be feted at a Hollwood gala, featuring Babs Streisand singing, "Don't Cry for Me, Dead little Goosey" The senator will also be speaking to Congress about the need to fit all geese with life jackets, and providing them with health insurance and flu shots.
The Senator regrets the false and misleading statements of President Bush in mischaracterizing the Senator's noble service and sacrifice as a hunt." _________________ The last refuge of scoundrels is not patriotism; it is finicky liberal humanitarianism.--Martin Paretz |
