I picked up the Wash. Post this morning and read this sentence, " In barely a month, Kerry has lost ground to Bush on every top voting issue in this year`s election." This is astounding since this was to be the month for Kerry-Edwards to shine. This can only mean one thing, people are now learning who Kerry is and what he stands for. Swiftvets and other groups are getting their message out. |

The only poll that REALLY counts is the one on November 2nd, but this one IS fascinating and in depth.
Kerry is down on all issues and on all personal attributes but one and Bush is up on every point.
Still a dead heat, but it does appear that people are waking up and getting educated.
Thank heavens! _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

This is a nice poll. It is really a miracle that President Bush is still holding up with all the slanders the media is throwing at him. Everything is turned into a negative on Bush and the media is just continual lovefest in attempting to push Kerry on the people. Seems as if people are able to go around the nbc, cbs, abc, cnn, nytimes, washpost, latimes, time, newsweek, Hollyweird, on and on and on and get the real truth. It's a constant battle. They will continually attempt to slander this president until election day. |

Just looking at the numbers the trend is quite evident. Bush is up in almost every category and Kerry down from last month to this. Bar graph the results and its quite impressive no matter how small the difference is - ESPECIALLY as this poll was the lead in to the DNC and post 9/11 release.
If memory serves, the trend showed roughly the same results even after the Edwards announcement. So, we who would rather not have Kerry anywhere near the whitehouse should simply keep on keeping on. _________________ Why ask? Because it needs asking. |
