This is an urban legend and absolutely NOT true.

Individual Starbucks support LOCAL causes. Each Starbucks employee gets 1 lb. of coffee per week and some of them have been donating their coffee to the troops overseas.

A quick internet search will usually turn up info on whether something is true or not.
