Seems like Kerry's "global test" theory is nothing new:
"Kerry's belief in working with allies runs so deep that he has maintained that the loss of American life can be better justified if it occurs in the course of a mission with international support. In 1994, discussing the possibility of U.S. troops being killed in Bosnia, he said, "If you mean dying in the course of the United Nations effort, yes, it is worth that. If you mean dying American troops unilaterally going in with some false presumption that we can affect the outcome, the answer is unequivocally no."
There you have it. This proves that Kerry's "global test" is a global veto. Apparently no cause is worth fighting and dying for without the permission and cooperation of the United Nations. That is the Kerry Doctrine: |

Like I said on another post. Kerry will never change. He was against the military in "71", and still is. Look at his voting record when it comes to military and intel spending bills.

I'm glad you pointed out the depth and impact of that policy, for it is more than the simple and obvious as stated brilliantly by the venerable Krauthammer. I cannot imagine any non-comatose Jew voting for this aging hippie.
Charles Krauthammer wrote: | ... John Kerry says he wants to "rejoin the community of nations." There is no issue on which the United States more consistently fails the global test of international consensus than Israel. In July, the U.N. General Assembly declared Israel's defensive fence illegal by a vote of 150 to 6. In defending Israel, America stood almost alone.
You want to appease the "international community"? Sacrifice Israel. Gradually, of course, and always under the guise of "peace."...
