There's a guy on Fox and Friends right now outlining what a Kerry
cabinet would look like. He is trying to make it appear as if this
"tie" is going to turn into a clear Kerry victory. I don't remember
Bush doing this even during the recount stage. I know that he had
to plan as if he was going to be taking office and that he had already
mentioned a couple of people he was considering (i.e. Colon Powell
as Secretary of State), but this went much further than that. He
was attempting to present the election of John Kerry as inevitable.
Disgusting!

actually, I remember him working on his cabinet while they were sorting out the vote, but it was done real quiet, since the clock was ticking.

"The Bush campaign has for weeks been quietly putting together its transition team. Once Gore withdraws, it is anticipated that the Texas governor will quickly name a White House staff and move forward with Cabinet picks."

Candidates have cabinets roughed out very early on. Don't worry about it. The OIM has to fill the airwaves 24/7, but that doesn't mean we have to watch it.

At this point it is all mental...uh...self-gratification. Feels okay for a half a minute but it ultimately means nothing.
