Hugh Hewitt, who I consider to be a pretty savvy political observer, has some very encouraging words and insight on his site:

Let's hope he's right, and I prefer to think he is. I've not cut-and-pasted his story since it contains so many back-up links that are equally interesting.

Hugh Hewitt likens to what is going on with the Kerry campaign and the MSM, particularly the NYT lost explosives story, to desperation tatics. As I read this, the infamous Charge of the Light Brigade jumped in my mind as a relevant comparison.
