Andy could ACT like a good dude in his role as Sheriff Taylor. IOW, when push comes to shove, his portrayal was pretty much a lie. Lies and Liberals, synonymous, IMO.
We, as a society, have become far too enamored of celebrities. WTH do they know that the rest of us don't know? The answer is they don't know squat that you and I don't know! So, why do folks pay attention to them as spokespeople for causes and products? The answer to that is not at all flattering to those folks. I think that we are seeing some evidence of at least some of those folks having an awakening. The TEA party is a good example of that awakening, and November will show whether or not those folks are going to think for themselves.

In all too many cases, they know much less that the rest of us, but get the attention due to their celebrity.
I stopped listening to actors long ago.
