Many have been posting in many treads asking if it is ok to download this video and share with others. Navy_Navy_Navy gave us this  (Hint: you will get this in your email monday ) :

Seventeen Prisoners of War from the Vietnam war recently produced a moving
documentary - each of them speaking about their treatment at the hands
of sadistic captors and how the anti-war movement back home affected

statement that would reflect poorly upon their fellow soldiers or their
government or their country.
In the meantime, a Navy Lieutenant was back in the States after only four

day-to-day basis, with the full knowledge of the entire chain of command.
This Navy Lieutenant stands before you today as candidate for
Commander in Chief of our Armed Forces - John F. Kerry.
These POW's attempted to get their story told, only to have their documentary
watered down into a confusing hour-long "news commentary" which
included only a few minutes from their movie, Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal.
Beginning on Monday, Oct 25, this 42 minute documentary is going to be
available free on their website: www.stolenhonor.com
Please help ensure that these men are not kept silenced. Let yourself hear
what they have to say. Let your family and friends hear their stories.
They have waited so long for America to know - please let this be their
time to tell their story to all of us who never knew the full story of the
anti-war movement and its terrible effects upon our Prisoners of War who
"fought the good fight," and resisted the enemy by all means possible
within their cells for up to almost eight years.
These are honorable men who went off to war as their country called them
only to return to a world turned upside down. Please give them an hour and
they will speak to your hearts.

can. As with the ads created by Swift Vets and POW's For Truth, the movie
is one that the Kerry campaign does NOT want you to see, because it is
irrefutuble and immutable. Truth is like that.
As a veteran, I am proud to stand with my Vietnam-era brothers and sisters
and say, "Enough! Never again will we allow the American soldier to be
vilified and marginalized in his or her own country without speaking up
against it!"
We must not ever let the anti-war movement convince us again that our
soldiers are the marauding murderers and rapists that John Kerry testified
that they were back on April 22, 1971 before our own Congress and
thoughout his leadership of the VVAW protests and rallies.

I edited my original message to correct the reference to "Fourteen Prisoners of War" to "Seventeen" and to add the alternative links.
I need to go find that message and do the same with it - I'd be quite glad for people to copy, edit and use that letter to promote the visibility of these links.

You can do several things with this video:
1. Send links to it to everyone you can.
2. Burn it to a cd just as it is, a wmv file for people to view on their computer.
3. Burn it to cd as a svcd. Most dvd players will play these, but not all.
4. Put it on vhs. Lets face it, many of the seniors still don't use computers or dvd players. They use the old vcr.
5. You can burn it onto a DVD, much more expensive.
To put it on a SVCD, you need to convert the wmv file to a mpeg file. Then burn it to disk as an SVCD.
To put this on vhs you can do two things. Make an SVCD and play it back in your dvd player (hooked up to your vcr) and record it to vhs.
Or if you have TV OUT on your video card (most laptops do) you can connect it to your vcr and connect the audio out from your sound card to the vcr and record it. Just remember to start the vcr recording before you start the playback of the viedo and make the video full screen on you computer (this may or may not affect you, depending on you computer.).
To make a SVCD you must first convert the file to an mpeg using something like TMPGEnc http://www.tmpgenc.net/e_main.html . Use the SVCD file settings (NTSC) and just follow the directions. It will take awhile to complete (about one hour). When you have the mpeg version of the file, use Nero (or whatever you have, as long as it is able to do it) to burn a SVCD using the MPEG file not the wmv file.
Use the LARGER file size version if you can. It will look and sound much better. Even if your on dial up, just start it and let it go till it gets done. Well worth the wait.
