Don't know if you guys are interested in my running gun battle with the local confluence of degenerates who support Kerry, NAMBLA, CAIR, and Moveon.org. I don't want to bore anyone. This to the Editor of The Sun Journal, New Bern, NC The dork I've trashed is a Community College teacher who promotes Michael Moore movies in town. I hope gets I call him a liar. Stu
The 18 July article (U.S Image Never Worse) cobbles together a rambling array of sham allegations, cheap shots, and quasi-political talking points all paper-clipped by intellectually lazy analysis.
This house of cards exclaims nobody likes us anymore and it’s all Bush’s fault. The “proof” starts with eleven popular treaties evil Bush renounced upon entering office. Some listed are 1.) Kyoto Treaty- Effectually rejected by US Senate 95-0 back in 1997. Clinton signed, but the Senate wouldn’t ratify this loser. 2.) ABM Treaty – 30-year-old Cold War throwback between Russia and U.S. Main threats now are rogue states North Korea and Iran, not Russia. 3.) Land Mine Treaty- Clinton, China and Russia refused to sign. 4.) Law of the Sea- Rejected outright by President Reagan; prohibits us boarding inbound terrorist ships with nukes. 5.) International Cleaner Energy Plan - We “rich” nations buy expensive solar and windmill energy, not cheaper fossil fuel, for poor nations. 6.) International Criminal Court- Would legitimize attempted prosecutions like General Tommy Franks for genocide and war crimes in Iraq. Et cetera.
What’s wrong with us acting in our best interest and not bowing to U.N. internationalist schemes? Since when is our security and economic prosperity a Third World popularity contest? We did not desert our allies; they deserted us.
Bush ignored terrorist attack warnings and failed to prepare. Not according to the 911 Commission. The blame is certainly not his alone.
Bush said Iraq did the WTC? Show us. This War is on Global Terrorism, not on People Who Crashed Planes Into the WTC. “Uninvolved” Iraq ran Salman Pak for aircraft hijack training and paid families of suicide bombers. John Lehman, 911 Commissioner, stated there is a 10-year record of substantive Al Qaeda/Hussein contact.
Bush repeatedly insulted our closest allies? GW didn’t call Canadian Ministers morons. Or German Ministers Adolph Hitler. Or run anti-German campaigns referencing Nazis-like “heel clicking.”
Bush tolerates a General who condemned all Islam? He refuted the offending comments and the General publicly apologized.
Can we raise the level of discourse? Hollow denunciations fog collective knowledge and impede accurate conclusions. Something fallacious offered as fact, necessitates challenge. Unless, we are just going for “A lie, repeated often enough, will become truth eventually.” Today’s world requires much better of us.

Hey, Stu,
That's a GREAT letter - lots of good points you made, there and if he doesn't catch that you're calling him a liar, he's brain-dead!
I'd like to copy that out to my 5000 closest friends!
It would be interesting to put together a complete list of groups and individuals who have endorsed Kerry. I'm taking your list and adding to it - if anyone else who knows of an endorsement that Kerry's received, please add it to the list and keep it growing.
CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations - front for terror groups - see www.anti-cair.org for the antidote)
Moveon.org (Has promoted ads portraying Bush as Hitler, extreme left wing.)
American Communist Party - Yeah, I want these people on my side!
"Foreign Leaders" - But, he won't tell us who!
NEA - Promotes socialism from Kindergarten through post-graduate schools.
Dennis Kucinich - Co-Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus - a group of self-declared socialists in Congress.
GAMPAC - American Atheists: Godless Americans Political Action Committee
Jacques Chirac - President of France
Kim Jong Il - Nutcase leader of North Korea
NARAL - A woman's right to choose is greater than a 7-pound baby's right to imminent birth.
Planned Parenthood - Doctors can't give your child an aspirin without your permission, but they don't have to tell you that she's getting an abortion. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~
