I just viewed the meltdown of Larry O'Donnell from the other night on Scarborough Country. What a disgraceful display.

But as in other on-camera interviews I have seen with Mr. O'Neill, he was calm and gracious, despite the browbeating ATTEMPTED by some nut on the left...

I had previously contributed to SwiftVets after I purchased and read Unfit for Command the first week it came out (sure was hard to find then)... I had been looking forward to the book since early May, when I happened to catch the SwiftVets initial press conference on CSPAN.

Even at that event, there was a loony female reporter from the NY Times who accused the Swiftees of being GOP stooges, and it was very stirring to see the anger of the vets and the one gentleman who practically leapt to the podium to shake his finger at her and tell her off (I was almost afraid for her safety - he seemed really, REALLY PO'ed).

Anyways, I have received a couple of requests for another $100 donation, but wasn't going to give UNTIL I saw the video from earlier last week... If John O'Neill is tough enough to continue to endure this kind of crap, then I can certainly dig a little deeper and contribute again.

I am so proud to have had the chance to support our Swift Boat Vets. I hope it is not too late, I sent in one more contribution. I know I will never forget their sacrifice and the lessons I have learned during this election. I have watched our Swift Boat Vets ignored, attacked and villified. Some of the behavior of Kerry's minions (this includes many of the elite media) reminds me of early 1930's Germany as Hitler sought to gain power. Yet our Swift Boat Vets refused to back down. It is not surprising given the character and courage they showed at a young age. Once again they have come to the defense of our country.
I agree with what another forum writer said - no matter what happens Tuesday, we stood with the men who stand for all that is right and good in this country. God bless you, Swift Boat Vets!
