Kerry is losing and here's proof. New Jersey and Hawaii are battleground states, with polls showing it neck & neck. Kerry ought to be ahead by at least 15 percent in these states. Dick Cheney is even going to campaign in Hawaii in Sunday. Hawaii has only voted for a Republican presidential candidtate twice - 1972 & 1984; both times 49 state landslides for the Republican incumbent.
Also, George Soros, who has spent untold millions this election trying to defeat Bush, has basically thrown in the towel by stating that he no longer thinks Kerry can win.
Let's take facts like these and give the Kerry people what the need - a big dose of discouragement. |

And if Bush is making in close in Hawaii & New Jersey, then it won't be close in the Midwest, which is much more conservative. |

I keep making the offer: Let me go to Hawaii and help!
Yeah, I am with you mcknz: How can it be as close as they say and have states like Jersey and Hawaii in a dead heat?
Does it seem to anyone else like we are seeing one thing (a landslide) and being told another (dead heat)?
It's psychodelic...or psychotropic...or just plain psychotic...but I think the OIM is putting LSD in their kool-aid. _________________ The last refuge of scoundrels is not patriotism; it is finicky liberal humanitarianism.--Martin Paretz |

Kimmy,
I am going to go ahead and volunteer for a fact-finding mission to Hawaii to assess the situation on the ground there.
I think the campaign needs my expertise, and I'll even do the priceline.com search if they'll go ahead and forward me their card number.
They need me there, they do.

recon is a flyer, we don' need no estinkin tickitz.
We can all crowd into a room at the Hale Koa for about 78 bucks a night. Who ever has the lowest rank, you register, since it's sliding scale. Then we go to the bar on the beach, see? Where you can charge the drinks to the room, see? But we <natch> don't charge them to our room, but we suss out the sitcheashun and scout out what room the retired Admiral is holed up in. Then! Ta--dah. In like Flynn. He11, we can charge everything to the Admiral: food, sun tan lotion, you name it!
And any of you active duty, don't you worry about the court martial one little bit. We'll be okay dokey, because John Fraud Kerry has lit the way for us in terms of misconduct while in uniform.
But I do think we should be fair and spread our bills out to all the different service branches, so we should find some assorted Generals to charge things, too. Fair's fair.
And I agree, there will be months of work involved in this, as we prepare our report of the aftermath of Bush's victory in Hawaii with 54% of the vote.
Aloha, nui nui!
Oh, I'm gonna go back to my little grass shack in Ha'wa'ii... _________________ The last refuge of scoundrels is not patriotism; it is finicky liberal humanitarianism.--Martin Paretz |

Let me know when you all get here. I'll meet you at the Barefoot Bar at the Hale Koa and buy a round. Their Mai Tais are the best in the islands!

Al: I like those back scratcher things.
I have had some fun at the Hale Koa, over the years...sigh. But the cabins at Barking Sands are great too. _________________ The last refuge of scoundrels is not patriotism; it is finicky liberal humanitarianism.--Martin Paretz |

Yes, go vote. No matter how good it looks, go vote. And go vote with confidence.
The election is already underway and Kerry is losing it.
Another factor is that polls are showing Bush taking about 15-18 percent of the African-American vote, of which he only got about 9 percent of in 2000. This is huge and it is something else that will seal Kerry's fate. |

My thoughts exactly Kimmy! I think the MSM and dimmycRATS are
spinning the truth to make it look better for Kerry than it actually is! _________________
