Jay at the horserace blog says Rasmussen's poll is junk. He said it's a computer phone poll that does not account for the number of hangups. |

Yes, we need to pray that this anti-American candidate, John Kerry, is soundly defeated. He betrayed his comrades in arms in Vietnam, he has created a web of lies about his past, his trips to Paris to meet with the enemy of our country at a time of war.
I am appalled at the MSM's failure to get the facts out about Kerry's past. _________________ Ted Harwood, Ph.D.

|

I've been plotting Rasmussen's polls throughout October, and I've noticed that Bush repeatedly drops for polls released on Monday (polls taken Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), then goes back up during midweek.
They had a similar effect on Father's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day. I suspect this is because married people are probably out with their families over the weekends and holidays, while single people are more likely to stay home. Many polls show that married people of both sexes vote more Republican, while single people (especially women) vote more Democrat. On the weekends, they get a more Democrat sample, so Bush drops and Kerry rises.
I'm wondering what kind of sample they will get this coming Sunday, when people will be too busy handing out Halloween candy to respond to polls!
Rasmussen also uses an automated call system, rather than live pollsters. How do they screen out children who might answer the phone, and be old enough to understand and answer the questions, even though they're too young to vote? _________________ The traitor will crater! |

I hope you are right. We need to defeat this defeatist radical Left candidate put forth by the Democrats -- this betrayer of the Vietnam Vets, John Kerry.
We must put the nail in his coffin! _________________ Ted Harwood, Ph.D.

Rasmussen is the most rollar coaster poll existing.
But since we are on it, note how it covers
Ohio: Bush 50, Hanoiboy 46
Job approval 53
Florida: Bush 50, Hanoiboy 45
Job approval 53
These things swing alot every day, so don't hang your mind stuck inthese things.
Just go and vote and everything will be OK _________________ ---Prince Lazar---

BTW, excellent analysis..it is exactly what it is..Reps are busy with life during the weekend, proven fact, even Zogby agrees with that, so that must mean we are right!!! ..but it is exactly right on... _________________ "We will not tire, We will not falter, We will not fail."
