I was downtown today and noticed they had special parking at the courthouse which was very close so I went ahead and voted. I did somwthing I have never done, I voted straight party line. I voted for no democrats because I feel that no party that support kerry with so little regards to veterans feelings deserves no further support from me. I don't see myself voting democrat any time soon in the future either. I was just wondering how many have voted so far and how many feel the same way I do?

Four early voters for straight Republican tickets here - first time I've ever done that, too, but we need to clean house with the closet socialists and overt socialists at all levels of government and bring back REAL Democrats like Joe Lieberman and Zell Miller.

I voted some time ago via mail.

The Democratic party lost any chance of getting my vote long ago. I don't think I've voted for a Democrat for any statewide or national office since 1988. (If they ran unopposed for a statewide office, I might have - but I don't think so.)

And no, the Democrat I voted for in 1988 was NOT Dukakkis. I wasn't THAT foolish!

I agree that Joe Leiberman and Zell miller are both real democrats. I said before the primaries I could support leiberman real easily and I have the utmost respect for miller. If either were running I would probably consider them, but as a whole the democratic party has left a bad taste in my mouth. Many of our local democrats are pretty conservative, and many are recommended by the NRA (this ain't Kalifornia) but I guess for right now I feel like the party has stabbed me (us as we are brothers and sisters) in the back by supporting Kerry. I think the whole atmosphere of liberals slandering veterans, both in the media and on forums has added to this feeling.

Sorry to rant.

I'll be voting early on 2 November, and it will be straight Republican - first time in my life. I consider myself an independent - vote for the best person, regardless of party affiliation - but I'm really (!) ticked at the way the Dems have behaved this time around. Twisted Evil

Oregon is a one hundred percent vote by mail state, so my wife and I voted last weekend. I was out on a GOTV neighborhood walk for Republicans today. There were two large assisted living homes in my assigned area. Ninety-five percent of the old people had already sent their ballots in and proudly told me they voted for Bush. One woman was 101 years old and she was very proud that she voted for President Bush. She said, “I just don’t like that Kerry.” It made my day.

I voted today but talk about something that didnt matter ... I live in California and the welfare mothers in SF and LA are so determined to keep their checks coming that all hope for rational thought is lost.

Frankly 51 percent of the people in California would vote for a dead skunk before a conservative Republican.... In every negative though you can find a positive.... John "the Liar" Kerry never ran a single commercial in California and fortunately never visited except when he ran short on money so we didn't have to see him lie live on our local news at least.

Fortunately the rest of the country is not so blind as California and we have every reason for high hopes on Tuesday .... Keep the faith brothers and justice will be done.

I have voted, I voted straight party line.
I started doing this after the first Clinton term, I was in the Navy a watched first hand, the results to the military from the current breed of democrats in power.
Remeber dont ask dont tell? how about the cutbacks, my underway time went up by two and a half months a year. the BMs used to paint the Hull when in port I walked down the pier in Rhoda spain amazed that they were scrubbing it with greenie weenies.
It will take quite a political explosion to make me vote for the likes of the Democrates again.

All of them except Zell Miller

I voted straight ticket Republican too. Having served under both Bushs and Clinton, I'll take Pres Bush over any Democrat any day. Though, Lieberman would have been ok, too. Unless there is a purge of the Democrat party and it becomes what it used to be, I'll be hard pressed to vote that side for a long time. It seems the left radical groups have taken over the Democratic Party.
