I'm still watching the election news. I wonder why the press still hasn't given veterans the credit for the swing votes that got the election for Bush. They didn't mind doing that for George Wallace in the past to get more hate votes against the sunny south. I think enough vets found out over time the attacks against the south were illy concealed attacks against America and that southerners were guilty of just trying to be good Americans. This especially after viet vets became targets because they too cared about the future of America, the vets in fact, became the new target for betrayal. You can bet vets made up more than enough for the margin of victory though and used them as a block. Now, I wonder if they'll still continue to try and prove Kerry a traitor. None of us like his anti-war actions. None of us liked America allowing the cowardly traitors who fled during viet nam given a pardon to come home. They didn't come back home to stay but rather to prey. I think I'll still support vets if they pursue the issue.
