I was moved to tears last night. Mr. O'Neill, you inspire me with your courage. I saw you at a book signing event at a sports bar in Houston, fielding questions from some obnoxious jerk (although he was not nearly as obnoxious as some of the journalists I've see you deal with) with your usual effective yet courteous manner. Later last night I saw a show on MSNBC with Brian Williams that had a lot of footage of you as a young man, debating Kerry on the David Frost show and speaking out against him in other forums. You were always wearing your white suit, the only one you owned. You were so young and baby-faced, yet then as now I could see the truth in your eyes and you never backed down from your detractors. I wanted to cry when I heard the audience members clap and cheer for Kerry, I wish I could have been there in that audience cheering for you. It never fazed you a bit, you just kept on hammering away at Kerry. I know that this Tuesday, no matter what the outcome, I will keep those images of you standing up for truth in my heart to give me strength. Thank you, Mr. O'Neill! |

Perfect!! I saw the Houson bar event on c-span. I mirror your comments. Mr. O'Neil' truth rings clear. I can see it in his eyes. His steadfast resolve and calm in the face of the naive attacks leveled against him is in keeping with his courageous service to this country both in Nam and now. _________________ 1st Cavalry (airmobile)

john o'neil, i've read your book, i've seen most of your documentaries, i've tried to keep up with the debates both on tv and online. as a physician and the son of a ww2 vet(deceased) who has tried his best to emulate a good man, i clearly see a good man in you. i clearly see good people in this forum and in your organization. you lead by example and with substance. i have seen many people in my practice and have "stumped" for our cause. most were not aware of the history of john kerry. the most powerful story for me comes from the vietnamese patients i've seen who ALL support your view and the cause of our president. they say the cost is immaterial to them. what is most important to them is to be safe and free. i pray to my dad, a veteran and a physician , and his patron saint micheal to draw his sword and cast out the evil that threatens us now. GOD SPEED!!! |
