What a waisted play, perhaps AP wants to achieve tabloid status like the NY Times has. Good grief the swiftvets thing is going to break wide open. It is 2004 not 1964. What are the internet police going to come in and shut down www.swiftvets.com? _________________ Defender of the honor of those in harms way keeping us out of harms way.

That's somewhat old news folks, but certainly an interesting "take" on the "unbiased" Associated Press and most worthy of archiving. Let's see how long it takes before they decide that, perhaps, there just might be some substance in the SBVT story. |

The stunning revelation was confirmed by the AP's Washington bureau this evening. A spokeswoman for the AP stated that the wire service had sent a reporter to cover the press conference. However, she said the AP decided against running a news article about it because, "It does not further the anti-Kerry Vietnam veteran story any." |
Yeah. Sure. Swiftvets does not further the anti-Kerry story. Right! That's easy to understand!
And the revelations that a taped confession of Lee Harvey Oswald was found on the assassination of Kennedy ("Me and my pal on the Grassy Knoll did it") doesn't further the story on the Warren Commission findings, either.
What a crock.
AP's statement is leftist-speak for "the SwiftVets story does not further our pro-Kerry agenda, so it will be suppressed."

AP will run the story once the Kerry race is hopelessly lost. Which I give it about two weeks whenl Bush has a double digit lead. _________________ Defender of the honor of those in harms way keeping us out of harms way.
