In a last ditch effort to help disseminate what I consider to be critical election information I just launched a very special web page simply called "Vote Carefully".

The link to this page is provided below the text portion of this message. I should probably warn those with dial-up connections that the page is graphic intense and may therefore take some time to load. I am on broad-band and it took about 45 seconds to load completely this evening.

I created this page specifically to offer folks a simple straight forward (I hope, anyway) means of getting some really important information across to others who may not really understand what is at stake in this election.

I'm not really sure if I am supposed to post this in this forum, but since it does deal with the efforts to get the truth about kerry out, I'm guessing that it does. If the moderators need to move it, I understand completely. My only wish is that as many folks as possible have access to this information before it is too late.

I've been a member here since August and I'm sure if I ever really introduced myself .... I am the daughter of a Navy vet who served in the South Pacific in WWII ~ I am the wife of an "old Marine" (he served in the Marines from '57-59), I have 2 grown children and am the grandmother of six, ranging in ages from 7 to 21 years old.

I am self taught on the computer and I have grown to love the creative aspects of this medium (I create my own graphics and normally build animal related web pages for others....non-profit, btw) In the six years I've been online I've come to cherish the incredible communication opportunity the internet provides. This was especially brought home to me back in '98 when tornados ravaged the Oklahoma City area ~ the animal shelters in that area were swamped beyond belief and a small group of us were able to use the internet to help locate, identify and reunite 100's of displaced pets with their families, as well as place many, many animals it into foster homes to help relieve the strain from the local shelters.

I have to tell you, though, I have seen some very strange changes occur within this medium since the clinton impeachment and the 2000 election when the MSM came to realize that the internet was, for the public, a source of information above and beyond what they chose to dole out. As the impeachment of clinton played out I witnessed site after site simply disappear over night and, once the 2000 election was history, I've watched the MSM corporations begin to consume and consolidate large chunks of the internet.

For the first time in my life I am honestly scared for our future and I am terrified of the future my grandchildren face if the radical socialist movement at work in this country isn't stopped!

Hence, I humbly offer my attempt to help secure a bright future for them ......

Perhaps you should break it up into multiple pages?
(It's easy to do...just cascade a link at the bottom of the
page to the next page...that would make it easier for
low-bandwith, dialup users to view)

In any case, well done..thanks for sharing! Wink
