Quote: | As President Bush and John Kerry crisscrossed Midwest battleground states Saturday, a new poll showed the incumbent moving ahead of the Massachusetts senator in the popular vote, and Democrats said their private surveys also hinted at momentum for the president.

I'm from Buffalo, New York.
I stopped subscribing the one-and-only local paper ten years ago.
I just got fed up with the liberal borderline communist slant to every article.
I now get 100% of my news over the internet.
If New York were any farther left, it could be declared a soviet block state. _________________ Swift Boats - Qui Nhon (12/69-4/70), Cat Lo (4/70-5/70), Vung Tau (5/70-12/71) |

Amen to that, BuffaloJack. Our kids have been getting the Buffalo News at school as part of a civics project sponsored by some local company, and bringing it home after school. We also never buy it, but I've been reading it since they're bringing it home. It's sort of that same compulsion that makes people gawk at a car wreck! I get so mad I could spit nails everytime! The leftist slant in everything from articles to editorials to letters to the editor is so blatant, it's impossible to understand why anyone even subscribes anymore! |

I really really hate leaving for work every morning and seeing the Kerry signs lining the yards across from my house.

I live smack in the middle of a nest of liberal Democrats. A very liberal retired judge is two house down from me. I had to go to central Ohio to see so many Bush signs I lost count. The best one I saw was a badly homemade one that was huge. It said "Farmers for Bush". I was in the heart of Amish and Mennonite farm country. If it wasn't for the inner city of Cleveland and Toledo, Bush would be an easy Ohio win.
