Looks like Chris Matthews is holding his own special Kerry Rally tonight. Ben Stein was so rudely interrupted but managed to get his Pro-Bush point across. It didn't look as if any of the Kool-aid Krowd was even a bit interested. They started chanting Kerry, Kerry Kerry, and Matthews glowed and looked as if he thought they were praising him! I used to watch Chrissy ever day. I REFUSE to watch him anymore. The only show I'll watch on MSNBC is Scarbourgh Country.
I don't understand why MSNBC hasn't tried to take on Fox and put a few more conservative shows out there. Doesn't make sense, or even CNBC should try to tap into that very large very dedicated conservative audience.
Chrissy must never review his own show, if he did, he would see how silly he looks. |

The only reason I watched, is because it was a combined panel instead of the regular Scarborough show. I can't stomach the creep. Joe Scarborough seems to have a tough time against him. He seems to weaken and go to the middle everytime they're on together. He's just less experienced. He'll toughen up. |

Joe goes back and forth feeling the need to be "balanced", he knows exactly what he is doing.
He is torn to be a "journalist" verses being a former republican congressman.
I like him, but he does waiver, sometimes so much it makes me wonder.
I emailed him recently and asked him (not that he responded) what exactly does Ron Reagon bring to the program? |

If shows get too conservative they lose advertisement. Notice the advertisements on Fox compared to others....very different. _________________ The door to the room of success swings on the hinges of the opposition. |

If MS-NBC were smart, they would dump Olberman and Chrissy, and give Rush Limbaugh a huge contract to go against O'Reilly on the 8:00 hour. Rush beats him on the radio, no reason he wouldn't beat him on tv. If Rush won't do it, they should get Ann Coulter or Laura Ingraham. _________________ "We cannot win this election" - John Fraud Kerry 11/3/04

He has NO purpose, every other person has something in their background which gives them insights etc. He just doesn't have ANYTHING to say. Once in a while, he will spit out some hate about Bush but he really doesn't have a reason to be on the Air.
I appreciate he has a special name, but that ALONE is can't be enough. |

I don't think Rush but the others. If I "owned" MSNBC or even CNBC, I'd take Fox on with 100% conservative show. Why not, these shows on MSNBC and CNBC are utterly failing in terms of audience. They dont' get 1/10 of Fox's ratings. Why doesn't it make economic sense? |

I think peter has a point. Rush used to say "I AM equal time." There ain't enough out there there to counter the MSM.

Listening to Fred Barnes talking on Laura Ingraham now ... he said that on this morning's Imus show, Chris Matthews was being interviewed ... Matthewss said he's voting for Kerry, and "encouraging others to vote for Kerry as well". I'm just shocked - Chrissy Matthews isn't voting for Bush! Did you see that one coming?
