It has been suggested here before but I would like to restate it.
I took out my Vietnam Service medal. When I go to vote I will have my Jungle Hat with the Army Engineer Castle and that bright yellow ribbon on my coat.
If you see me ... offer a salute ..... I will proudly return it.
And Chief and all the Swift Vet members ... here is my salute to you now.
What will you have on? _________________ 18th Engineer Brigade

And if you're one of those dinkey dau guys who just can't stand being in a suit Then wear whatever other service regalia you have.
Just try it. You'll stand a little taller, and feel a little prouder and more gentlemanly. And you'll like it. _________________ Hating John Kerry continuously since 1971.

I know my medals are in the house somewhere. I just haven't run across them in about 2 decades. I plan to wear my cap with the swiftee logo and my CTF115 Markettime Medallion pinned to the side of it. Oh yeah, Suit & Tie also. _________________ Swift Boats - Qui Nhon (12/69-4/70), Cat Lo (4/70-5/70), Vung Tau (5/70-12/71) |

I wish I was in the states during this election, I would have worn my Class A uniform to the polls. _________________ Regards,

Early this morning I arrived 20 minutes befor the poll was to open. I couldn't believe the line.
I had my Vietnam Service medal, my Jungle Hat with the Army Engineer Castle, the "Vietnam Vetrans AGAINST kerry" pin and that bright yellow ribbon and medal on my coat.
I received and returned a salute from a fellow with a Navy ship ball cap on. Quite a few people said "hello", many smiled.
I felt real good. _________________ 18th Engineer Brigade
