Now they say there is also a 10 day period in Ohio for overseas ballots., and I think we all know who most of those votes are for so Ohio is a done deal.

Laura Bush is a class act.

But, IMO, he owes his shot at a win to the Swifts.

If the Swifts hadn't come out when they had with their ads and their books and their unassailable TRUTH, Kerry would have walked off with this a long time ago.

The Corrupt Leftist Media would have made sure of it... they did their best, but truth and integrity are beacons of hope in a campaign. Especially as dirty as this campaign has been.

I guess it would be a little fun to watch those military ballots roll in while there hopelessly contesting those other ballots!

Absolutely, true. Thank you Swifties!
Since I'm from OH, I am a little upset with my northern counterparts, but at least I can say that my county voted BIG for Bush. Thank God, the Republican stronghold here in the south got us over the hump. But, it looks at this wee hour of the morning the demrats are still going to fight this. God spare us.

The alphabs are also reluctant to finally call NV, NM and Iowa for Bush. And they've all gone for Bush.

Again, I hope that Edwards was just full of it, tonight, and that the Dem don't try to lawyer their way to a win. If 144K holds up, that conceivably is more than the 139K provisional that at least ABC reported. They won't count them.

So that would be it. It's over.

sKerry needs to concede the election.

Dem spokesman on Fox was giving the Swifties credit a little while ago.
Gotta get up in 3 hours to go to work -- Thanks, Swifties & I'll check in
tomorrow if I don't get fired for being a zombie at work. (Sleep deprivation recently for SOME reason...) Razz

In my opinion, the states themselves are responsible for the late Military ballots. The ballots were not printed and sent in a timely fashion because of the litigation over Ralph Nader's inclusion. FedEX & DHL airlifting ballots from Afgh & Iraq, I understand.

It is so unfair the Military is disenfranchised during an election. Happened in FL in 2000 also. I am so happy PA Governor was cajoled into allowing additional time; Jeb Bush is OK with extension.

Ohio has no problems; the vote count exceeds the provisional ballots. Can anyone in OH (or keeping track there) confirm this?

I wish that were true. But while Bush won by millions, and technically may have won more votes than any President in history because of the turnout - which turned out to be even a bit more Republican than not - it was only a 3-4% margin of victory. I was surprized how close it was.

The demrats are claiming there are 240,000 provisional ballots out and the repubs say there are about 125,000.
So, they are fighting over that here in OH.
