With 7% of the vote in, President Bush is leading by 57% to 42%. Martinez is leading his Senate race by seven.

Remember that is probably only the East Coast too. West Coast or the Central Time Zone area I think is Republican.

That is correct. The panhandle is on central time zone as opposed to eastern time zone for the peninsula and the panhandle is heavily conservative. I expect the Bush numbers will continue to look good in florida. As of right now it is 7:00 pm central in the panhandle and the polling stations are closed.

Go W!

@ 8:17 Eastern, with Bush up by 10% (with 22% of pcts reporting) and without the Pan Handle, it looks like Florida will go for Bush.

Not sure, but a quick check of polling station back room trash cans should be telling.

I heard that in absentee ballots Bush is favored 2:1 and that includes military. Those ballots may not be all counted until sometime Thursday.

CNN had a analyst show middle of state that Bush is doing much stronger then last time. Led viewer to believe Bush was doing very well in Florida.

Fox reporting that Kerry took a surprisingly large 47% of military family vote (exit polls)
