I laughed out loud in the store when I saw the cover of the free-because-nobody-would-pay-money-for-this-crap Valley Advocate!!! A big, blank front page, with "ARRGH!!" in 3 1/2 inch high boldface letters!! ROTFLMAO!!
The loss for Kerry is like a stake through the heart of Massachusetts liberals. It is a giant liberal hangover here in western MA.!
Here is a sort of oblique SVPT mention in their Letters to the Editor:
In responding to an article by a rather vapid ultraleftie (Alan Bisbort), a Vietnam veteran reader writes "I am opposed to this war, Al. Thus I feel that I cannot vote for Mr. Bush. However, I cannot an will not vote for a candidate who I feel has disrespected his fellow vets by turning against them, as Mr. Kerry has done in my view."
This is in the Amherst/Northampton area of western Mass., which is almost malignantly infested with ultraliberals (you should have been here for the communism convention at UMASS!)!!!
Our message is out there!
Now we have to make it a part of common knowledge.
