The pundits are currently doing a post-mortem of J.F.Kerry's loss. Let's look at the real reasons he lost and why his tactis failed:
...Swift Boat Vets teaching the nation the truth about J.F. Kerry
...Kerry bashing the SBV's, thereby attacking veterans again.
...Attacking Bush for his alleged stupidity (this "stupid" guy never lost an election. He beat a popular Gov, Ann Richards. He beat Gore and now he beat Kerry).
...Draft scare (even though Dems submitted the legislation)
...Social Security scare (during the same week SS recipients received an increase).
...Attacking his National Guard records (by implication, attacking all Guardsmen and women)
...Kerry's people campaigning to get the vote out. (he got them out--for Bush).
...Maligning the faith based electorate (they are still doing it)
...Bring Vietnam up over and over again (thereby putting the spotlight on his "qustionable Vietnam record.")
...Bashing Halliburton (who cares?).
...Embracing Michael Moore.
...Embracing Hollywood
...Embracing the elite media
...Embracing bogus elite media reports (ie. Rather and munitions report).
...Embracing the wacky MoveOn.Org wackos
...Embracing lies---Farenheight 9-11.
...Embracing the U.N.
...Embracing Air America--who?
...Embracing his wacko wife (I know. He had no choice).
That's why Kerry lost.

One should add:
Kerry has no real marketable experience or track record. Senator for 20 years without his name on any significant legislation? No managerial or executive experience in either business, government, or even any non profit.
The Democrat Party had no substantive ideas to offer the electorate on anything. For example, one can disagree with Bush's ideas regarding social security reform, but at least he has an idea. The Dem's only idea was to do nothing in the face of clear demographic bankruptcy. |

And lets not forget that he never addressed the Swift Vets and POWs for Truth, because he knew he was lying and so did everyone else. |

Nobody has ever accused John Kerry of being anything more than a hollow caricature of a human being. He should have gone to Hollywood instead of Washington. He could have made a career of playing Dracula in "B" horror flicks. _________________ Hey swifty, I'm with you, Just watch you don't get "Kerry'd away in the propwash

Just to set the record straight, Bush did in fact lose his first election (as a US Congressman). But he learned his lessons, and never lost another one. |

Don't forget about his "plan." He had a plan for everything and no one knows what it is. _________________ 1st Cavalry (airmobile)

Kerry lost because he ignored "fly over" American and pandered to the fringe.
"Fly over" America handed him his a$$ in his hat. |

I had the grand privilige of voting four times for W, twice for Governor and twice for POTUS. |
