I have two receipts. One I will leave at the wall next time I'm there. The other I will frame for posterity.
How bout it? Sound like a plan?

Love it--although I'd like to make such receipts more permanent. First choice would be bulldozing "The Wall" entirely and building something that HONORS rather than BURIES the heroic dead. I'd like to be able to find my friends easily (alphabetically--without a map) and see their services, their ranks, the medals many of them died earning. I'd like that new monument to be owned by the PEOPLE of America, not by some screwy group of so-called Vietnam Veterans who bought the media's claims that the war and its American combatants were decidedly "different" from other wars and other uniformed patriots. That wall is the symbol of what impelled the Swifts.
