Gentlemen:

It has been a great privilege to join with thousands of others as we have supported you in this endeavor. However, I wish to cast down a challenge to you which is more profound than that which we just fought.

As the son of a Vietnam Veteran who was recognized in the movie We Were Soldiers and whose conduct and bravery were above reproach I joined my efforts with yours to speak out and communicate truth. At this point we have been given the opportunity not to just prevent a man who was without honor from gaining the office of the presidency but we have also been given the chance to redeem the honor of the American Fighting man (and woman).

Kerry is gone but I certainly hope that this is not where the Swift Vets and POWs for Truth leave it. Revisionist history which paints the Vietnam Veteran as a drug crazed murderer has finally been challenged with truth. Please consider not just continuing the web presence which you have developed but perhaps expanding your efforts to get speakers into schools and colleges to communicate the reality of the Vietnam Veteran. The last two commercials were so powerful because you simply relied upon your character and your nature to convey the message.

I am not sure but I suspect it is very rare that individuals are given such a wonderful opportunity to rewrite history but as two popular sayings express "it ain't over til it’s over" and "history is written by the victors" Today gentlemen you are the victors. Kerry's deceit has come unraveled and you now have the opportunity to correct the records for all time to come.

Please consider how you can continue to educate the American people. Your name indicated not that you were Swift Vets and POWs Against John Kerry but rather that you were Swift Vets and POWs for Truth. The opportunity continues to stretch out before you to continue the work of promoting the truth.
