When he came out he had the gaul to give that salute (not reporting for duty here fool) and he also did that little annoying hand thing where he puts them together like in prayer and starts bowing. Sorry...this is the USA not India or the orient. Evil or Very Mad

You guys noticed that too?
He did that all the time during the campaign, which drove me nuts.

His loyal followers seemed to take it in stride, like it was normal.

A normal concession speech gives praise to the victor, he didn't have the decency to do that.

Did any of you notice that there wasn't ONE American flag being waved in the audience when Kerry gave his speech? Not one.

Yeah, he REALLY loves America Rolling Eyes

Did you see how many were at the Bush acceptance speech?

Like night and day.

You are right and now that I think about it, in his speech he said, " and today I will begin the healing."

Note: Everything with that man is always I, I, I. He is an egotistical a** even when he is conceding. He is a LEGEND in his own mind.

Sad

Horseface makes me laugh. He talks about the "healing", yet he's the bastard that tore the country apart in the first place with his antiwar garbage. Thats twice he pulled this crap.

I watched it and I saw him slam and disgrace the Swifties. He was thanking his "Band of Brothers" and was praising their hard work of criss-crossing the country telling the truth about his record.

I wanted to throw up. He laid the gauntlet down and basically said come and catch me if you can.

The truth needs to come out and now that the MSM is done with him, I think they'll eat him in a heart beat if they think it'll garner big ratings.

I say celebrate the victory for awhile and then back to the business of getting the truth out about sKerry so that people can see what they almost elected. People need to see the truth. 54 million Americans didn't even know who he really is. If we don't, the MSM wins long-term and can continue to promote any ideology and create any 'truth' they see fit.

We stopped working long enough to watch it on the shop TV. To me, it was more like the Divisive, Let's Come Together, Victory, Concession Speech. Rolling Eyes

LOL, even in abdicating his campaign he still couldn't help but flip flop. First announced to be held at 10 A.M. (Pacific Time) then 12 Noon, finally at 11 A.M.

Was I the only one to notice his voice cracking a bit, as if ready to burst into tears and eyes watering up?

He was going to hand out flags but all he could find was his old collection of N. Vietnamese flags.

Lew:

Yeah, I watched it. Kind of wanted to see how a narcissist handled giving up.

I also thought he was about to break down at one point.

IMO, first 2 min was OK. Rest was typical demogague's stump speech. Even the first 2 min was fairly self-centered, though.

But at least he had - for maybe the first time in his life - the decency to put the nation's interest before his own. Not sure I'd have wanted to see a repeat of Florida 2000, even if it would have damaged Kerry and his party severly when it finally shook out.

However, as SWVTsupporter notes, many people still need to learn what Kerry really is and what he stands for.

It would be delicious irony if the mainstream media turn on him and expose him. Since he's now a loser, that's a distinct possibility. They don't like to see "their boys" lose.

And maybe we can help. (grin)

Yes, I watched self-adorned "war hero", self-admitted traitor and self-admitted war criminal John FRAUD Kerry's concesion speach. Although he finally did something right for America for once in his life by accepting defeat, he implored President Bush to re-unite the country without imploring Democrats to do likewise.

I also watched his cohort in deceite Edward's introductory speach. As I recall he never mentioned President Bush and did not utter one word of consession. His entire speach was nothing but an affermantion of left-wing liberal (socialistic) causes/policies and an emphatic call for Democrats to keep on fighting.

Obviously neither of them care about what America told them on November 2nd.
