According to Drudge, the new issue of Time magazine will mention the angst and mistakes made by the Kerry campaign in responding to the SwiftVets ad. The link is curently on Drudge but I am not computer savvy enough to post it for you. It is the only 527 mentioned as being important to the outcome of the Election. I am so happy I was able to contribue a few dollars towards winning this very important fight and THREE CHEERS for the SWIFTVETS! Always faithfull, always loyal, always there. Very Happy

In case the above link becomes outdated, here is the excerpt from the Time magazine item:

KERRY: Waiting Too Long To Fight Back Against Swift Boat Veterans for Truth: Kerry’s handlers, led by pollster Mark Mellman and consultant Bob Shrum, had convinced themselves it was unwise to respond to the Swifties’ ads, which were running in only three states, because it would serve to amplify the phony charges. But Kerry was jolted to respond when, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars national convention in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Aug. 18, dozens of vets asked, "What are you waiting for? You gotta fight back!" Kerry was livid. The campaign quickly changed gears, TIME reports.

SWIFTIES ROCK!

And alas, this backhanded compliment from Time and the Kerry campaign also shows the other reason we're thanking the Swift Vets and POWs: not just their effectiveness in the cause of truth, but their courage.

According to the Kerry Campsign and the mainstream media (MSM), the Swift Vets and POWs were:

(1) Frauds (remeber the Kerry campaign fax? Dr. Letson wasn't a real doctor, etc. etc. etc.?)
(2) Republican hacks (and the NYT had the radically incomplete and misleading paper trail to prove it, at least to those who neither needed nor wanted rpoof)
(3) Bitter, defensive liars about atrocities in Vietnam

etc.
etc.
etc.

Thank you, Swift Vets and POWs, for never yielding to the lies and reckless falsehoods told about you, to the pain they caused, to the hatred they produced.

Thank you.
