Dear Swiftees,

You are the best of America. I salute your service in Viet Nam and to the 2004 election.

I recall that my late father Ralph H. Trent (GMMC USN Ret.), an undemonstrative man, was so appalled at the antics of Fonda and Kerry that he actually marched in a Veteran's Day parade in Staten Island, NY. He was especially upset with John Kerry. Dad could not believe that a Navy officer would do that to his comrades.

My Dad always told me:

Oh, I wouldn't give my Navy beans
To be in the fancy pants Marines (just kidding all you Leathernecks).

God Bless America (and continue to save her from the likes of John Kerry)
