I'm new to this site, so I do not know of any thread being brought up about Michael Moore's movie or the Movie, Fog of War.
Anyway, I watched the documentary about some of the behind the scenes war planing bloopers (My estimation in a nutshell.) of things like the Bay of Pigs, Korea, Vietnam... Anyway, I would have to say it was a good flict to watch. Robert Strange MacNamara goes through a sequence of events that more or less sum up wars and the people who direct them. Actually, it lets you form your own conclusions like all good documentary films. Moore's film was drummed up so much in comparison to Errol Morris's Fog of War. The Fog of war is one of theose movies that will leave you flabergasted when you realize the amont of death attributed to war in the last century is around 16o,ooo,ooo lives.
MacNamera tells why the Vietnam war was not won... The Vietnamese were having a civil war, and would have never given up at any cost... they fighting for their own independance... Imagine a concept like that.
It's an interesting flict, and it is worth the watch in my opinion.
