The cartoonist Pat Oliphant is one whom I have admired over the years, especially for his draftsmanship, and not at all for his politics.

His cartoon for the November 1 papers is here:

Underneath this cartoon is a little calendar. Click on November 4 for his post-election piece. It is a real keeper.

Seems to me that some enterprizing and gifted cartoonist could work the Red State/Blue State map into a picture of a giant political "wedgie" perpetrated upon the liberals by the conservatives. Just an idea--probably not a good one Embarassed

Let the truth be known. I'm with you guys and Kerry insulted all of us with his anti-war activities. Let's hold him accountable.

Oliphants cartoon reflects the attitude that most Liberals have toward us, especially those who served in the military. It shouldn't suprise anyone
The Democratic Party used to be a party of the people. Now its the party of the intellectual elitist and the petti bourgeoisie, the pretender and the wannabe. Rolling Eyes

The ostrich's head buried in the sand is outside the field of view in the cartoon.

Truman would never get nominated by THIS Democratic party.
