Right now, the USA get 25% of our oil from Alaska. There is more in and off the coast of ANWR. So do you think Bush and the Republicans in Congress can get the oil fields open to lessen our dependence on foreign oil? I don't see any other choice unless we start building nuclear power plants, but that isn't going to happen any time soon.

There could be huge oil fields up there.
