Just got this froma group of ladies working out of Annapolis Md. If this is all true and I have no reason to disbelieve it, then this should be a major part of the next mission.

Dear WISP members and friends:
There is still work to be done. Please take a moment to read and pass on.

Sorry, but this is not entirely true.

I hate to be in a position for sticking up for that traitor, but that letter has been making the rounds in various forms since 1999 - and she's already been profiled in ABC's A Celebration: 100 Years of Great Women

Check out http://www.snopes.com/military/fonda.asp for more accurate information.

By spreading something that has lies interspersed with the truth, once the lies are exposed, the truth also becomes to lies to many.

Hanoi Jane is a traitor and nothing should ever diminish the facts of the harm she did to us all.

Please, before posting anything you receive in email, consult one of the many Urban Legend and Hoax sites around and verify it's true.

Guys. I apologize for posting this. Right after I posted, the ladies who put this out in an e-mail this morning did a quick retraction by a follow-up e-mail. Evidently someone who got their original e-mail and knew about the hoax set the record straight with them. Unfortunately, I had jumped the gun. Again, my sincerest apologizes to the group.

One of the things that made the Swift Boat message so believable and so effective was the simple fact that it was the truth. Exaggerations were not necessary to define the lack of character and integrity that should have been evident to Kerry's electorate. But his home state voters have demonstrated poor judgement in the past and will probably continue to do so. Remember, this is the state that re-elected Ted Kennedy after his Chapaquidick swim.
I have learned a few lessons this season:
1. Pay attention- Stay informed- Don't trust the media for your information.
2. Get involved- When you see a crook, speak up.
3. Stick to the Truth - It sounds better.

Hanoi Jane has dropped out of sight and should remain so. After divorcing TT, she hopefully has reitred to obscurity.
