Man, Rush is right about (at least) one thing, when the Lefties start losing the argument, they get really funny!
I was unaware that we are all tools of Karl Rove, until I saw Al Hunt's drivel in today's WSJ OP/ED;
http://www.opinionjournal.com/extra/?id=110005452
Subtitled;
"Calling John Kerry's military service into question is beyond the pale."
Why is it OK to do so to Bush for the last 8 months, Al? In fact, at the end of the article, Hunt states; "George Bush, like most of us, ducked; John Kerry fought"
So, Al, it's your position that service in the National Guard is somehow less than honorable military service? Lots of Guardsmen in Iraq and Afghanistan will be interested to hear this.
"Most of us ducked"
Well, Al, maybe that's your problem understanding Swiftvets.
We didn't.

PS, It's worth reading the responses at the bottom of the article. |

Mr. Hunt appears to have based that entire piece on other articles or Kerry's own web site rather than on any research.
The most glaring of the errors was stating Kerry had "retired" and then went to VVAW. Frankly, at this juncture there isn't a stick big enough to beat in the fact that Kerry was still in the military when he presented his assertions. _________________ Why ask? Because it needs asking. |

Goophy, maybe Al meant RE-tard, which down South has a completely different meaning than re-TARD.

It is the initial shock that has people like McCain and Hunt reeling. With Bush most everyone knew it was just campaign rehoric and couldn't be taken seriously. But in Kerry's case the SwiftVets are just confirming what most knew all along but did not want to confront it openly. They are in shock. |
