Mr. Kerry said that, we need a president who has the credibility to bring our allies to our side and share the burden, reduce the cost and reduce the risk to American soldiers. That’s the right way to get the job done and bring our troops home.

In 1991 the first President Bush established a 34 nation coalition, including France and Germany and the UN was supporting and authorizing the coalition to use all necessary means to liberate Kuwait.

In the senate vote to authorize the use of U.S. Armed Forces, guess who voted NO, right, JOHN KERRY. He wanted to continue debating, not only on going to war, but the legalistic points such as whether the president had the authority to wage war without Congressional approval. Which is what the senate was voting on at the time.

His hesitation and inability to move forward at this time of national decision doesn’t seem to enter into the current discussions on whether he had the judgment and decisiveness required of a Commander in Chief.

His actions then reinforce his reputation now as a flip-flopper who avoids taking firm stands and who seems interested more in political viability or deniability than National security. The U.S. burns waiting for Kerry to decide
