Recently it was announced that Fox News would be allowed to broadcast to our Northern neighbor in January 2005. Few Americans know that Canada had restricted access to Fox News and banned it from broadcasting in the great white north. The Liberal government of Canada feared spread of the infamous Fox Virus to its’ citizens thus causing irreparable damage to their liberal cortexes.

Canadian Broadcasting has provided only one view over the years in an effort to create a socialist utopia among Canadians. Much like what our own Main Stream Media was attempting to do in our own country. Now the public watching Fox News and discovering an alternative point of view will threaten all that they have come to know.

In less than a decade Fox News has become the highest rated cable news network and a welcomed alternative to the Cable News Aljazera Network CNAN, MSNBC and the big three. Another ramification of Fox News that worries Liberal leaders everywhere is how much the Nation has shifted as Fox News has grown. All one has to do is compare election county results maps from 2000 to 2004 to see that red states are getting redder and blue states are only blue around large population areas where broadcast MSM still rules the roost.

This was not lost on our Liberal friends of the North as a growing number of their population receives “Fair and Balanced” reports they can expect a shift. The public in Canada has demanded access to FNC and now it is a reality. Liberal power in Canada will surely wane just as it has in the USA. Welcome to fair, balanced and accurate broadcasting Canada.

The Fox News Channel is way overdue in Canada, but for the past five or six years Canadians like us here in the US have been getting a lot of unfiltered news from the internet.
Many Canadians have friends in the USA that they communicate with on forums and chat rooms, so the infiltration of a conservative way of thinking has been ongoing, like planting of seeds.
As soon as FOX becomes available to major cable channels I think we will see a new Canada that will eventually reflect in their government and in their way of life.

Not all of Canada is of the extreme liberal bent. The western provences are more consevative, but the eastern calls many of the shots. Fox will do well and the libs will freak.

My advice? Start chilling your favorite adult beverage, pop some corn, sit back and wait for the whine fest to start. I love the smell of liberals fuming and steaming in the morning. Smells like....... victory.

The majority of Canadian citizens are a lot like us here in the US, some liberal some conservative and some independent.
Their main problem is they got politically lazy, not involved and in the process they have lost freedoms, and ended up with a very liberal government.
We shouldn't be too critical because it almost happened here.
If it weren't for the SWIFTIES, the various Christian groups, and the Gay Marriage issues, we would be in the same predicament.
If Kerry had won, in four years we would all be wishing we were living in Canada.
