The next time I am in San Diego I will have to check this out. Although I was in the army, we were offered a half a dozen slots in the two week language course in conversational Vietnamese at the Coronado training facility before our unit deployed to Viet Nam in May of 1967. Most of the trainees were navy guys gettiing ready for duty on the rivers and off the coast of Viet Nam. They were very gracious hosts and we had a great two weeks. |
