Once finished I will publish a report. This is very scary stuff the Democratic Party has aligned itself with the devil and I am concerned as much for the damage they will cause to our country as I am the Republican Party having carte blanche. As long as the Democrat's hate America and wish its destruction, the further they will fall and the Republicans will rise, yet it is important that our country have accountability for whoever is in power and power does corrupt. With a soon to be one party government will we survive politicians and their poor character and principle? As I hold dear and true the philosophy of conservatism from "Burke to Elliot” so well said by Kirk, I also understand the dangers of as Jefferson said the "ignorant majority". Such a contradiction and sadness when I should be relieved, yet these are the times we live in. _________________ "An activist is the person who cleans up the water, not the one claiming its dirty."

This book is a damning view of the radical left and more importantly the political leadership of the Democratic Party. Horowitz does a fine job showing the reader the old left giving way to the new left in the early 60's and their ideological views, and how this element of the party which once was aligned with the Stalinists, Nazis (during the Nazi Soviet Pact), has now aligned itself with Islamofacists. He explains that communism although thoroughly disproved to be a viable ideology as shown through the various governments which tried to achieve it people continue to have the faith in the ability to create this utopia. This is a nihilistic religion of man and his ability to achieve harmony given a world in which there is no capitalism and thus as the left states the oppression which capitalism creates. He also sheds light on the lefts belief that control of the population is ok for governments so long as it’s in a communist state. So the very oppression they claim America to cause is ok as long as their ideology is in place. The radical left is anti-capitalist or as Horowitz says Anti-globalization, but at their core their true hatred is for America and view America as the economic imperialistic oppressor of the entire world, thus all of the world’s problems stem from America and our global economic policies. He goes on to explain all the groups working with the Islamic extremist groups which is a whose who of every single left wing ideological group. No one is spared in his analysis and especially damning were Teresa Heinz foundation donations to TIDES which donates to Islamic and radical left wing groups. To think we almost had a First Lady who donates money to the very enemy were at war with. Especially great was the part where he discusses the Attorney who defended the mastermind of the 93' WTC bombing who ended up in jail for assisting him in terrorist activity after he was behind bars. He describes the lawyers causing us problems on the judicial side as people without courage and no purpose in life. These lawyers live vicariously through their clients and begin to rationalize and even romanticize defense. He discusses at length how the UN is run by third world dictators opposed to America and Israel and intent on both our destruction. Concerning the lefts answer to the Muslims intent to kill them as well as everyone in America, the left believes once utopia is reached, harmony amongst man will ensue and their will no longer be a need for the radical Islamofacist to hold on to religion and therefore will no longer hold the tenet of killing all non-Muslim. The sheer lunacy of the left is in clear view throughout the book. These peoples religion is communism, animal rights, environmentalism, and anti-globilism. They do not believe in God and original sin and therefore think man can achieve a heaven on earth existence. That our nation has people like Carter, Gore and the Clintons whom prescribe to this lunatic fringe belief as standard bearers for the Democratic Party worries me to say the least. I must say he did give the Clintons sort of a pass by saying they have been trying to distance themselves from the left, yet this is political maneuvering on their part for Hillarys 08' run. As he says we all know what Hillary prescribes in by viewing her writings throughout her life just as we knew who Kerry was by what he had done in the past. About the only person he gives high marks to on the left of prominence is Joseph Lieberman who had no chance winning the primary due to his moderate stance and rejection of the New Left. There is no doubt the Democratic Party has been hijacked by a fringe element which has but one goal, the total destruction of America and in its place a communist utopia void of God and commerce. I would like to add one more thing Horowitz points out no one on the left has an answer to just how the system of government will be designed or work having witnessed every form of communism fail over the last century, rather the left only has to believe in utopia and have faith and harmony among man will be achieved. A religion of evil is what we face when dealing with the New Left today. _________________ "An activist is the person who cleans up the water, not the one claiming its dirty."
