I just wanted to share with you an email I recieved that really warmed my heart, and let me know that in our humble way here each and everyone of us did make a difference.
Hi Layla, (what a great name)
As a VietNam vet I wanted to thank you for your service in
the defeat of John Kerry. I also wanted to thank you for being
insightful enough to recognize the total veteran contribution
and to thank them for it. In way of testifying to that I will
briefly relate to you that my father-in-law "a W.W.II Navy Lt.
who served 3 years in the pacific theater" now 84 years old
went out on a daily basis and distributed literature urging people
to contribute to the SwiftVets for the truth and literature that
encouraged people to vote for Bush. He inspired me on a daily
basis to continue with my own efforts in those matters.
BTW, I heard today that Kerry will run again in 2008. I will
look for you to resume your blog etc. as that time approaches.
