THIS NEEDS ATTENTION!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a suggestion.
We need to challenge the veracity of this "free encyclopedia) in
regard to the protrayal of our Swiftees.
Obviously, since the MSM did not give even a token coverage of
our contentions, it has limited information posted in the link.
I suggest that we go to Franke, or Merrie Spaeth or someone with
clout in the media and get this rectified.
We deserve to have a balanced view out in the public. After all,
they are NOT the MSM.
If they refuse to modify the information to a balanced view,
then we have grounds for a new item to debate in the news.
It will also make them defend their advertising about the nature, purpose and
composition of their web site.
Will you admns and moderators take this up with Chief, or any appropriate person to see if they will follow through?
I am leaving the link for your convenience to peruse and pitch in
correct and relevant information and/or opinions.

Let me know what you think.
Happy New Year again.
Mary Ann
PS.
I am hoping that Sam (Aristotle) will revive the debate about W'S
IQ. This is a perfect time to bait Kerry. He is sounding quite vulnerable to me.
*REVIEW THE INFO ON THIS LINK.
IT WILL SET YOUR HAIR ON FIRE

Mary Ann...
I just got started workin' on the Wikipedia "Swift Vet" entry. I've already edited (we'll see if it's challenged...I assume it will be) the introduction to eliminate what I suggest is a biased portion.
I took some time to read both the tutorial and the dialogue surrounding the evolution of the introduction and my initial impression is that the proprietors are open to dialogue on the subject and are sincerely dedicated to presenting an NPOV (non-point-of-view) product.
On edit: While the Wiki hosts foster NPOV, the Swift Boat Vets Wikipedia entry reads like an SVPT indictment and the content is dominated and guarded by a leftist cabal who will quickly dispatch most attempts to edit it. Good luck to anyone who might try to work within that system. It's an exercise in futility. |
