I read a column today by Michelle Matlin (?) detailing that fact that the USS Abraham Lincoln's twin nuclear reactors are turning 400,000 gallons of seawater daily to vitaly needed potable water for Indonesian victims of the tsunami. Further, the men/women of the aircraft carrier are forgoing fresh water baths so as to have even more water available for victims. Hows that for baffling the envirowackos who hate anything "nuclear" and lefties/socialits/commies who hate the military and regard every man/woman in uniform as a baby killer or worse.  |

On a somewhat related subject - I watched the local schools lower Old Glory to haff stick first day of school so I politely asked who had crossed the bar and they told me it would be for a week for the tsunami victims. When I asked if they were going to do the same for our troops who sacrificed I got a look of "how dare you"
