In a speech today at Johns Hopkins, Kennedy said:
Quote: | The American military's continued presence in Iraq is fanning the flames of conflict, and signals the need for a new detailed timeline to bring the troops home, Sen. Edward M. Kennedy said Thursday.
Just three days before the Iraqi people go to the polls to elect a new government, the Massachusetts Democrat said America must give Iraq back to its people rather than continue an occupation that parallels the failed politics of the Vietnam war.

I think it is high time that veterans everywhere respond directly to this latest attempt to further undermine our efforts in Iraq, which in turn belittles the mission being performed by our courageous troops.

The only thing failed about Vietnam is that the American public lost its will to do what was needed to win. And it was the likes of Teddy and John Kerry that authored the message of quit that was imposed on the American people by the MSM. As America withdrew over 3 million innocent people were killed. I guess the Ted Kennedy types want us to withdraw once again so millions more can be slaughtered. Apparently the millions lost to abortion aren’t enough. In their twisted minds the world has too many people and to loose a few more million is a good thing. And for the record it was Teddy’s brother JFK who got us in Vietnam in the first place.

Teddy claimed that the insurgents were winning the war for the hearts and minds of the Iraqis and the US military is losing it. Right. Kidnapping and cutting the heads of Iraqis makes them want to be their allies. If they kill even more the Iraqis will love them even more. You bet.
Ted has shown that he is no longer thinking lucidly and if he persists in this attitude he will make himself out to be a bigger laughing stock than he already is.
Ted, you know that fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life. _________________ John Kerry. A Neville Chamberlain for our times. |

Ted, you've burned too many brain cells with Jack Daniels. The American Military is simply doing what is has for decades, fighting for the freedom of oppressed peoples, and giving it to them: first Afganistan, now Iraq, free democratic elections. By extension, we will be safer...when is the last time a democratic nation pursued terrorism or threatened the United States? All your doing is giving aid and comfort to the enemy you fool. With your assinine rehtoric you encourage terrorists to continue to kill Iraq civilians and US soldiers. You give them hope they can influence and weaken American resolve in ignigting the fires of freedom and democracy in the Middle East. You give them hope that if they can "just hold on" the US Military will pull out and then they can come in and regain their control over Iraq and pull the Middle East back into the dark ages of Islamo-facisim. What is it Ted? The fact that you will never be President like Jack or ever be the Democratic Party's candidate like Bobby? The fact that outside Mass. you are regarded as an over the hill, past his prime Senator who couldn't even get the junior senator from your state elected President? The fact that your single-minded pursuit of saving your political a** resulted in the death of a woman and the eternal scorn of decent Americans? I think your bitter because you know its all true. |

It was Teddy and some other meatheads that that led the defunding of the Viet Nam military assistence in 1974 that basically undercut the defenses that collapsed when the NVA charged in. Kennedy has a lot of cajones to complain about the failure in any conflict when he is the prime architect of failure itself. The man is a loser. An aside, Massachusetts was the only state in the last census to lose population. Anyboby care to guess why? _________________ 8th Army Korea 68-69 |

Since I don't vote that "*&^%*%*" into office, what can a sane American do? I for one think someone should check that guy's papers to see if he is an illegal alien.

The oldest Brother Joe was MIA/KIA flying a Navy PBY4, the Navy version of the B-24, dring WWII. John Kennedy was nearly killed as well in the Solomons. How 'The Swimmer' can disgrace the memory of Joe and the Service of Jack in WWII in this manner defies logic. _________________ 8th Army Korea 68-69 |
